Do you have an interest in anti-racism and decolonising global health? We are looking for alumni to contribute to the student anti-racism toolkit.

The LSHTM FAIR Network is looking for MSc alumni and PhD students with an interest in anti-racism and decolonising global health to contribute to the student anti-racism toolkit between September and October 2021.

Commissioned by LSHTM Leadership, this toolkit aims to equip future cohorts of students with the minimum knowledge, understanding and terminology needed to critically and confidently engage in important conversations around racism and colonial legacies at our institution and beyond.

If you have an insight into the LSHTM student experience with these topics, the ability to effectively synthesise a wide range of information, excellent interpersonal skills and a personal or professional interest in how racism and colonialism manifest in higher education and global public health, we think you could be great for this role.

Technical direction and coordination will be provided by the FAIR Steering Committee. The role will be paid at a rate of £20 per hour and will require in the region of 40 hours of work over September and October 2021. The closing date for submissions of interest is Thursday 2 September 2021, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for short, informal interviews held on Monday 13 September 2021.
