I finished my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Greenwich. Then I went to LSHTM to do my master's in Medical Microbiology.

After graduating from LSHTM, I went back to Hong Kong and got my license as an Associate Medical Technologist (which is similar to a Biomedical Scientist in the UK). My first job was working in a molecular laboratory, testing genetic defects in fetuses. About 11 months later, I moved on from this role and started working in the core laboratory of a private hospital in Hong Kong. I mainly work in the clinical chemistry and microbiology section.
