Educational/professional background

I am originally from China and living in the UK now. I did both my undergraduate and master's degrees in Materials Science in China. I then moved to the UK for my PhD study in Biomedical Materials, focusing on developing novel polymeric drug delivery systems. I have been working as a postdoc in drug delivery technology for 3 years after completing my PhD.

Research interests or career goals

My career goal is to develop more drug products that can benefit more people around the world. I believe that is clinical trials in an important part of the drug development process, which is why I chose to study at LSHTM which is a leading institution in this field.
