I am a physician who studied MSc Public Health at LSHTM in 2022/23. I currently work as Assistant Professor and consultant of Emergency and Critical Care at a teaching hospital in Addis Ababa. I also work as a medical consultant for various healthcare related projects in the country.
What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM
It gave me a whole new perspective on healthcare. I have moved on from the very narrow (still significant) vantage point of the doctor’s office. I am now able to understand policy decisions and am able to direct my contributions to better it in a more impactful way. I also met peers who have given me a wider view of the world in general.
