Educational/professional background

I am currently an intercalating medical student on the MSc Immunology of Infectious Diseases, having previously completed four years at the University of Newcastle Medical School.

Research interests or career goals

After my intercalation I will be returning to Newcastle to complete my medical degree. Beyond that, as I have developed an interest in infectious diseases, I hope to build on this MSc and move into a clinical immunology discipline.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I chose the course as it provided a balance of lab work with subject teaching. LSHTM has recognised experts and ongoing research in most areas associated with infectious diseases, and I believe this to be a good start toward developing my infectious diseases interests.
