Educational/professional background

I graduated with a BSc in Human Geography in 2017 and have over 4 years of global experience working for an NGO in the field of Neglected Tropical Diseases. I am now in the Public Health by Distance Learning programme.

Research interests or career goals

I have a deep interest in maternal and child health sparked by my volunteering experience in Tanzania. My other interests include conflict and health, and infectious diseases. It is my goal to become a specialist. 

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

LSHTM is internationally recognised for its research and teaching. The Distance Learning course enables me to work full-time and study simultaneously whilst also interacting with students from across the world with diverse experiences.
