Educational/professional background

I am a public and global health specialist with an MSc in Public Health for Development from LSHTM and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. I am a perfect multilingual, speaking English, French, and Kinyarwanda. I have over 8 year's experience working with non-governmental/non-profit organisations at a national and international level and I am passionate to implement public health training through research and advocacy which promotes and contributes to evidence-based health policy and health research systems in developing countries. The goal is to ensure the efficient utilisation and application of knowledge to improve global health through research.

I am working with a multidisciplinary network of experts from research organisations, governments, NGOs and health institutions to promote the right to health and development. I provide strategic planning, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), and the design & management of research projects. Therefore, my parallel area of interest has been the development of analysis which aids detection and policymaking, and which is easy to adapt in a routine health system.

What I enjoyed most about studying at LSHTM

LSHTM attracts students from all over the world with different backgrounds and experiences and peer learning is something I enjoyed the most.

Since graduating I have been...

Supporting the design and implementation of the national strategy to increase access to the treatment of hypoxemia in Rwanda. I have also been scoping, designing, and consensus-building for sustainable financing models to improve respiratory care to meet the optimal national demand, taking into consideration COVID-19 preparedness and response strategy and leveraging on Public-Private Partnerships for respiratory care. Additionally, I am providing technical support to the EPI team in the planning and implementation of activities for the effective introduction of COVID-19 vaccines in Rwanda.
