Educational/professional background

I’m a medical doctor from India with 3 years of experience in public and private hospitals in various departments of health and healthcare. Alongside my medical roles, I enrolled myself with Tamil Nadu skill development centre, to become a trainer for first-aid response. I educated more than 1000 labour workers on first-aid response in Tamil Nadu. I broadened my knowledge by attending multiple disaster management programs. This multifaceted experience pushed me further to commit myself to community health safety, health and health care. I wanted to immerse myself in rich knowledge about how policies are created and implemented, and more into research. Due to my diverse branching of public health interests, I put my time into researching the best university for public health.

I aim to work at international/national organizations.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

Once I envisioned myself in public health, I wanted to enter the best universities available for public health. LSHTM is one of the top three ranked universities in the world. They offered the best curriculum available compared to other universities.
