What I enjoyed most about studying my programme/at LSHTM
The friendships I made with my cohort at LSHTM—I am still in touch with some of them, whom I now consider close friends. I met people who share the same values: standing up for humanity, committing to justice and equity, and advocating for the liberation and justice for the oppressed.
What I have been doing since graduating
I am currently working for Abt Global's Papua New Guinea-Australia Transition to Health (PATH) Program and am based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Being at LSHTM has also allowed me to reflect on my position (a woman of color, from a small island country) and what I can do to ensure that my work is always centered on equity and addressing injustice.

I believe that our academic and professional achievements should ground us in our humanity and in the fight against injustice, oppression, and racism.
