Educational/professional background

I graduated from Tufts University in 2022 with Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Engineering and Community Health. I also hold a Minor in Dance. I started at LSHTM in 2022 in the MSc Control of Infectious Diseases. 

Research interests or career goals

I am very passionate about disease prevention through water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) during humanitarian emergencies. With an engineering background, I hope to eventually work on implementation teams in the field, alongside monitoring and evaluation work. 

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

I chose LSHTM because of the opportunity to strengthen my public health and epidemiology background in a multidisciplinary format. I was also excited about the summer research project opportunity the school offers. I chose Control of Infectious Diseases because it so closely aligned with my interests, and it has given me access to amazing faculty and lecturers!
