Educational/professional background

Hi, my name is Chrisan. I am a Medical Doctor from Indonesia. I’m a clinician, I have worked in the emergency department for the last 3 years, and I am also working as a clinical research physician for an Infectious Diseases Research Center in Indonesia. I did a clinical trial for the COVID-19 vaccine during the pandemic and worked on the RECOVERY Trial for COVID-19 treatment with The Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) in Indonesia as well.

Research interests or career goals

I’m very passionate about infectious diseases. Indonesia as a tropical country faces many challenges regarding tropical diseases and infection. The clinical aspect will be my main focus. I’m planning to continue my training as an Internal Medicine – Infectious Diseases specialist for my future career.
