Educational/professional background
I am currently a medical (MBBS) student at the University of Hong Kong. I took a year out of medicine to take the MSc Medical Microbiology course in 2019-2020 to satisfy my curiosity in infectious diseases and molecular biology.
What I enjoyed most about studying at LSHTM
A good proportion of the lectures in this course were delivered by external scholars who were each experts in those themes. Their wealth of knowledge and experience facilitated in-depth discussion on the topic and made the class a whole lot more interesting than just reading journals or textbooks.
