Educational/professional background
My background is in health service research, specifically in maternal and child health. Prior to LSHTM, I completed a BSc. Degree in Integrated Sciences (Genetics & Neuroscience) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Definitely the people! The cohort was extremely diverse, both in terms of professional and cultural backgrounds, and provided many different perspectives to learn from. I also made some of my closest friends during the programme.

Since graduating in 2020, I have been working as a researcher at King’s College London. I work on two different projects, looking at inequalities in maternal health provision within the UK.
