Ending the neglect of Chagas disease in the UK
An afternoon symposium exploring Chagas disease in the UK.
The symposium will feature international experts describing the global challenges we face in trying to eliminate this neglected tropical disease, updates on hot topics in Chagas research and community perspectives from ongoing Chagas work in London. The talks (2-5pm in the John Snow Lecture Theatre, see speakers below) will be followed by a musical reception with renowned Bolivian artist, Phaxsi Coca, in the South Courtyard.
The key audiences are healthcare professionals, public health professionals, students, academics and policy makers with an interest in infectious diseases, inclusive health policy in London and Latin American communities.
