Richard is a parasitologist with a background in molecular and cellular biology, and an academic focus on infectious diseases. He obtained a BSc in Microbiology in 2016 from the University of Leeds and subsequently earned an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases in 2018 from LSHTM.
His research at the School is focused on dissecting the fundamental biology of the pathogen Trypanosoma cruzi, the causative agent of Chagas’ disease.
