Health Data Research UK London seminar

Health Data Research UK London is part of the new national institute for data science for health (HDR UK) seeking to address key national research priorities in actionable analytics, precision medicine, clinical trials and public health.

Professor Harry Hemingway (London Director) will open the seminar, followed by Professor Sinéad Langan (Associate London Director) who will give a brief summary on LSHTM and HDR-UK.

This will be followed by two presentations and Q&A:

  • Refining clinical phenotype in psychotic disorders using natural language processing of EHR data – Dr Rashmi Patel
  • Randomised Controlled Trials using routine health data - what do we say to patients? – Dr Clare Relton

Please join us from 4pm in the South Courtyard Café for networking, drinks and light nibbles.
