I have completed PhD in Public Mental Health. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health in London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). I am working for the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST) and doing mental health-oriented research in infectious disease outbreaks. I am also a deployable staff member of the UK-PHRST during infectious disease outbreaks to support MHPSS programmes in low- and middle-income countries.

Teaching
I teach Epidemiology of Non-communicable Disease, design and evaluation of Mental Health Programmes and Introduction to Global Mental Health courses. I mentor and supervise MSc students in Global Mental Health.
Research
My research priority is around Public Mental Health that includes adaptation and evaluation of mental health interventions in wider context including in public health emergencies and general healthcare settings.
