After completing a BSc in Biochemistry with Industrial Experience at the University of Manchester between 2008 and 2012, I worked as a scientific copy editor and medical editor for four years. In October 2016 I began an MRC-LID funded PhD studentship under the supervision of Helen Fletcher and Andrea Zelmer. The project focuses on immune correlates and the host response to tuberculosis vaccination in the mouse model, using the mycobacterial growth inhibition assay, RNA seq and flow cytometry.
