I am Assistant Professor of Infectious Disease Modelling in the Centre for the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases and the TB Centre.
After being awarded a BSc and an MSc in Mathematics from Universitá degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and a PhD in Engineering from University of Bristol, I joined University College London and later the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine working as a mathematical modeller.

I am module organiser for the MSc module Modelling and the Dynamics of Infectious Diseases with Prof Richard White and Prof Emilia Vynnycky. I am also tutoring for the Infectious Disease Modelling summer course and the distance learning modelling module.
Research
My main research interest is the creation of mathematical and health economics models analysing contagion mechanisms and infection control strategies, in order to inform policy making and address health inequalities.
