I lead the User Support & Information Services Team in the Library which is responsible for all user-facing library services. This includes training and support, membership, access and enquiry support, the Leganto reading lists service, inter-library loan and document delivery services, and liaison with Library users.
I have expertise in providing literature searching support for systematic reviews and have contributed to a number of projects. ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-7329-0577.
I provide bibliometrics support to the School and have contributed to reviews of our collaborators and in benchmarking our work against our national and international competitors.
I am responsible for the conservation and preservation of our rare books collections. As part of this work, I led a project to digitise over 2000 of our rare books and pamphlets. These are available for use under a creative commons licence via the Internet Archive/Wellcome funded UK Medical Heritage Library.

Teaching
I lead the team who provides all information skills teaching and support across LSHTM. We provide teaching to staff, intensive MSc students, DL students and RD students, both online and face-to-face. I have a PGCert in Teaching and Learning and am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Research
I have co-authored systematic reviews in a number of research areas. My area of expertise is in literature searching and I have contributed to a number of systematic reviews published by the Cochrane Library, commissioned by WHO or underpinning Lancet Commissions. My search methods and reporting are informed by guidelines produced by the Cochrane Methods Group, JBI, PRISMA.
I am co-chair of the European Association for Health Information & Libraries special interest group on Evidence-Based Information.
