Allison is a project coordinator with LSHTM working on a portfolio of several projects in the Department for Disease Control, including providing administrative and finance support to the Unitaid-funded Plus Project. She studied politics at the University of Toronto, and completed a Master of Marine Studies in 2020, with a research interest in developing country fisheries for food security and livelihoods.
She possesses a background in grant management in the conservation and community-led development sectors in Southern Africa and Southeast Asia, as well as field research operations experience both on and off the grid. In 2015 she completed her post-graduate certificate in International Development Project Management, driving a passion for communications and grant writing for technical and non-technical audiences. She’s worked in a variety of roles with diverse teams, mediating all manners of human wildlife interactions as they relate to human health, from arboviruses to trafficked animals and lobster fishery livelihoods.
