I am an infectious disease modeller with a particular interest in evolutionary epidemiology. I hold a joint position between LSHTM and the University of Edinburgh Medical School. Group members are listed on my website katiito.com.

Teaching
I am co-organiser of the hybrid Modern Techniques in Modelling at LSHTM.
Research
I work across epidemiology, phylogenetics and mathematical modelling. The areas where I am currently active include HIV transmission, antimicrobial resistance and vaccines (particularly PCV and those against RSV).
