Educational/professional background
I studied Biology at the University of Oxford, where I developed a strong interest in how science can inform public health challenges. During my studies, I worked on projects exploring access to medicines in low- and middle-income countries, cancer inequalities, and women’s health advocacy in the UK and in conflict-affected regions.
Research interests or career goals
I’m particularly interested in global health policy, health economics, and advocacy - especially how evidence can be used to design fair and sustainable health systems. I hope to work at the interface of research and policy to help ensure that resources are allocated in ways that genuinely improve health outcomes for all.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM for its uniquely holistic approach to public health, which brings together perspectives from politics, epidemiology, and economics. Coming from a natural sciences background, I’ve really valued how the programme encourages interdisciplinary thinking and the chance to learn within such a diverse and inspiring community.
