Call for Applications: Disability and Health Research Training

This training is designed for Master’s and PhD students, early-career researchers, civil society and disability advocates working in health research and monitoring and evaluation, as well as health researchers and M&E specialists engaged in disability-inclusive development. People with disabilities involved in health research are strongly encouraged to apply. Participants will explore practical approaches to disability-inclusive health research through shared learning, interactive discussions, practical sessions, and networking with Ugandan and international experts, including Prof. Tom Shakespeare from ICED/LSHTM.
Important to note:
- Participation is free of charge; break tea, lunch and water will be provided.
- Sign language interpretation and wheelchair access will be available; please indicate any other accessibility requirements in your application.
- No transport refunds or other allowances will be provided.
- Applicants must commit to full participation on both days.

- A motivation statement (max 1 page) outlining why you wish to attend and what you hope to gain.
