Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson PhD Studentship for history of public health

We are pleased to invite applications for a three-year full-time PhD studentship, starting in September 2024, funded by a donation from the Wilkinson Charitable Trust. The PhD must be in the history of public health, but the exact focus of the project will be developed by the successful candidate. The studentship covers tuition fees, a tax-free stipend at the UKRI studentship rate, and up to £2000 per annum for research costs, equipment, training, or conference attendance. Candidates must hold a degree in history or cognate social science.

Applicants are encouraged to get in touch with their proposed primary supervisor (Martin Gorsky, Alex Mold, or Janet Weston) for an informal discussion before applying.

Full details are available here, and the deadline is 3 June.
