Working Across Disciplines
This is the second in our new series of Department seminars. Our focus is how we can work across disciplines. Our first presentation describes a case example in how a social scientist and mathematical modeller worked together across their disciplines. Our second presentation considers the spatial spreading of obesity as a case for interdisciplinary research. And our third presentation reflects on the challenges – pragmatic and epistemological – of working across disciplines in an area of public health concern.
