Voice of LGBT+ at LSHTM

Voice of LGBT+ at LSHTM

What do you want from your LGBT+ and Friends Network? Should it engage and support staff across the School? Should it influence culture and policy change to advance equality, diversity and inclusion for all?

Over the years, the LGBT+ and Friends Network has facilitated a peer group of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans* staff, students and friends across the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, providing social and LGBT + themed events throughout the year. This year, we aim to strengthen our presence across the School, and we want to hear from you!

During this interactive session, we will collectively explore the following themes:

  • What are our aims and objectives?
  • Who are our champions?
  • How to connect with LGBT+ and Friends across the School, to broaden our membership?
  • How to strengthen momentum, engagement and visibility?
  • Best approaches to promoting inclusivity?

This event invites everyone from the across the School who is interested in equality, diversity and inclusion, to help us define the future and scope of the LGBT+ and Friends Network.

Free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
