UNICEF'S Approach to Implementation Research

Debra Jackson from UNCIEF NY will present short talk on UNICEF approach to Implementation Research and open an informal discussion around research in LMICs.

This seminar is open to staff and students working in implementation research with links to newborn, maternal health, nutrition PMTCT, AMR and immunisations.           

Debra Jackson lived in South Africa from 2000-2013 and has experience working across Africa, the Pacific Islands and the USA. While at the SoPH she served as principal investigator for a range of research projects, such as the multi-country PROMISE-EBF trial on promoting exclusive breastfeeding, the National South African PMTCT Evaluation and most recently the Maternal Health in South Africa & Rwanda study. She has qualifications in nursing, public health, epidemiology and biostatistics.
