Anatoli Kamali will be speaking about the research of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative in Africa, and potential for synergies with LSHTM.
Speaker:
Dr Anatoli Kamali is Deputy Director of the MRC/UVRI Uganda Research Unit on AIDS. The MRC/UVRI Uganda Research Unit on AIDS is an internationally recognized research centre of excellence in the field of HIV infection and related diseases, provides important data for health policy and planning both in Uganda, Africa and the rest of the world. Dr Kamali is an LSHTM alumnus, graduating with an MSc in Community Health in Developing Countries in 1989.
