Data Use, Misuse, and Innovation - Part of the Bloomsbury Festival 2018 Open Wed 17 – Sat 20 October

Bloomsbury Festival

Open Wednesday 17 – Friday 19 October, 9am – 9pm, and Saturday 20 October, 9am – 6pm

In the era of false news, understanding how data can be used and misused is increasingly important. This exhibition from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine will include examples showing how visualisation can aid or mislead, what to look for to avoid being tricked, and innovative ways to approach data. Exhibits will include exploration of the famous London cholera outbreak of 1854, examples of good and bad infographics, and sculptural interpretation of data.
