Challenges in Disease Elimination
This is a four and a half day meeting, incorporating the Challenges in Malaria Research meeting previously run by BioMed Central.
The over-arching theme for this year's meeting is disease elimination; informed by the outcomes of our policy-focussed meeting in September 2015, we will cover a range of diseases including leprosy, yaws, trachoma, polio, with a focus solely on malaria towards the end of the conference.
The meeting has attracted a distinguished array of keynote speakers, session chairs and co-chairs who will shape the scientific content of the sessions around this disease elimination theme.
The programme includes representatives of the development aid community, the charitable sector, international funding agencies, as well as academics.
