Title: Drinking it all in - binging on data to evaluate Scotland's alcohol strategies
Summary: In this talk I will summarise my alcohol research undertaken in Scotland over the last few years. This has included investigating the epidemiology and costs associated with alcoholic liver disease and evaluating the impact of an Alcohol Act on alcohol sales and related harms. More broadly, I will try to provide insight into trends in alcohol-related harms in Scotland and how minimum unit pricing will be evaluated when (if?) it is brought in north of the border
