I'm an infectious disease epidemiologist and current OneZoo-funded PhD student at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where my research focuses on investigating the risk of avian influenza spillover from poultry to humans in Bangladesh, focusing on market hygiene and human immunity.
I have worked in international and national settings, including at the World Health Organization, with the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team, and at the UK Health Security Agency. I am an alumna of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control's European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) Fellowship (2019 cohort), having been based at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). I'm also on the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team's reservist cadre as a Field Epidemiologist.
