I’m a PhD student in infectious disease epidemiology, with a primary focus on the epidemiology and policy of meningococcal disease. My areas of interest include survey data analysis, survival analysis, infectious disease modelling, and spatial analysis. I am currently located in Ethiopia and hold positions as a lecturer at Haramaya University and a research assistant at the Hararghe Health Research partnership between Haramaya University and LSHTM.

Research
I am primarily interested in assessing and utilizing methods for survey data analysis, as well as investigating the epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases and the impact of vaccine policies on the dynamics of infectious diseases. Much of my recent research has focused on the epidemiology of meningococcal disease and vaccine policy for meningococcal disease prevention in Ethiopia.
