I joined LSHTM in July 2025 as maternity cover for the Department Manager in Public Health, Environments and Society (PHES) and will be in post until April 2026.

 For the past four years I have specialised in short term contracts, across Kings College London and at the School of Advanced Study, University of London; as Business Manager and Institute Manager for Classics and English. Prior to this I spent five years at ICMP as Manager of Student Academic Services, and over ten years as Department Manger of Literature, Film, and Theatre studies and the Department of Sociology, at the University of Essex.

I read Psychology and Special Educational Needs at Liverpool and Creative Writing MA at Essex. In my spare hours I am a poet and one minute short story writer.
