I joined LSHTM in January 2024 as a Research Fellow after completing a my PhD in Statistics at Newcastle University. My PhD research focussed on novel contributions to joint models of survival and multivariate longitudinal data. At LSHTM I am primarily responsible for developing clinical prediction models for early detection of gastro-intestinal cancers using exhaled volatile organic compounds alongside collaborators at Imperial College London.
Affiliations
Teaching
I support practical sessions for the Survival Analysis and Analysis of Hierarchical and Other Dependent Data modules within the Medical Statistics MSc. I also support student Projects on the MSc.
Research
Chiefly interested in applied statistics which is people-orientated in nature and computational statistics.
During my PhD I primarily focussed on the joint analysis of longitudinal and survival data, and this joint modelling remains a strong research interest. More widely, I am interested in health research applications of (potentially novel) statistical methodology.
My Postdoctoral position is funded by Pancreatic Cancer UK, Cancer Research UK, and the National Institute for Helath and Care Research.
