Etheldreda is a proactive and astute nurse, lecturer and young researcher who is keen on multidisciplinary approaches that prevent disease and promote good health and wellbeing for individuals and the population at large with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. She has over 9 years of experience in the health profession's education and over 4 years of experience in civil society organisations.
Etheldreda holds two MSc. degrees: one in Public Health and Health Promotion from Bangor University (UK) and another in Nursing Education from the University of Buea (Cameroon). She also earned a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from the latter University. Her teaching expertise spans from curriculum development to content delivery and evaluation. In research, she has conducted reviews and observational studies.

Teaching

At LSHTM, she supports the delivery of new, adapted and existing modules on the New Online MSc in Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy & Programming (MSc SRHP&P). Etheldreda also participates in the delivery of teaching activities (lecturing, tutoring, project supervision, seminar leadership) on the MSc programme and other relevant MSc in the school such as the MSc in RSHR, PH4D, etc; working closely with the Programme Directors, the content development Workstream Lead for the MSc SRHP&P and other members of the project team; liaising with counterparts at the University of Ghana (UG), relevant academic teams, committees and departments including the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at LSHTM; and supporting in the development of innovative forms of learning and teaching material.
In her previous role, Etheldreda supervised student research and community projects, delivered online and face-to-face lectures; and advised students on academic-related issues. As an admissions tutor, she screened prospective student applications, interviewed prospective students, set and marked entrance examinations.
