I manage communications for the I’M WOMAN Trial which will evaluate the effects of tranexamic acid (TXA) for postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) prevention in women with one or more risk factors for PPH. The trial will also evaluate the effect of the route of TXA administration.
I previously joined LSHTM from 2021 - 2023 as Communications Officer at the Centre for Epidemic Preparedness & Response and the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team and have lived in South Korea for the past year. Prior to this, I led communications at the University of Manchester’s Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute covering COVID-19 research during the pandemic. I have an MSc in Public Policy obtained from University College London and experience working with INGOs and NGOS on climate change and infectious disease. Outside of work, I’m passionate about learning Korean and Chinese (Mandarin) and understanding different cultures.
