I trained as a medical doctor and work as a dermatologist in Vigo (Spain). After my MSc in epidemiology at the LSHTM, I started working as Director of the Research Support Unit of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology, where we provide epidemiological support for clinical research and systematic reviews.

Research
My main research areas are related to drug safety in dermatology. I am the coordinator of Biobadaderm (a cohort of psoriatic patients receiving systemic therapy) and a member of the scientific committee of Psonet (a network of psoriasis patients registries). I have also participated in different studies, such as systematic reviews, randomised clinical trials, prevalence studies and other clinical research studies in the field of dermatology.
