Phd Student researching 'Access to Healthcare in Prison in England and Wales: 1996 to 2021’. This historical research project aims to understand the structural changes of prison healthcare over the past 25 years, and the experiences of people accessing healthcare services in prison between 1996 to 2021.
Before undertaking this research, Alice worked for a number of years as a prison law solicitor and legal caseworker, assisting people in prison with prison related issues.

Alice is currently an Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck (Criminology dept.) and teaches on their Imprisonment and Justice module.
Alice also taught Prison Law at Sheffeld Hallam University 2021 to 2022.
