I am a Research Fellow in Professor Gwen Knight’s team, where I explore how demographic factors (age and sex) are associated with antimicrobial resistance. My research focuses on understanding how these differences shape resistance patterns, with the aim of supporting more effective public health interventions.
I hold a medical degree, along with master's degrees in Control of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, and a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. My PhD research focused on modelling HIV viremia and its contribution to transmission dynamics.
My professional background spans clinical roles, monitoring and evaluation within Nigeria’s national HIV control programme, and global health research. I have interned with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and worked as a consultant for the World Health Organization, where I supported the Global HIV, Hepatitis and STIs Programme with data validation, analysis, and modelling.
