I am a research fellow and I use electronic health record data in epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology studies. Recent work has investigated inequalities in healthcare disruption related to the pandemic and repurposing of drugs to treat COVID-19. I previously worked at the University of Manchester where I used CPRD data in studies in the field of rheumatology. While working in Manchester I completed my PhD by publication, this included 7 studies with the theme of using digital data to investigate the management of rheumatoid arthritis.
