I joined LSHTM in November 2018 providing cover first as Faculty Operating Officer for Epidemiology & Population Health, and then from September 2019 to May 2020 as Faculty Operating Officer for Public Health & Policy. From Summer 2020 I began working within the Executive Office.

As Head of Operational Delivery, I support the Chief Operating Officer in progressing key projects and strategic objectives across the LSHTM faculties and MRC Units. I work closely with Heads of Service and their teams on the planning, monitoring and delivery of service objectives with a particular focus on those that require coordination across service areas/faculties/units. The role also focuses on driving operational improvement across LSHTM, particularly through ensuring appropriate stakeholder input and timely communication of changes.

Prior to joining LSHTM, I worked for five years at Imperial College London in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and the Faculty of Medicine. In the latter I led operationally on a number of flagship projects including, establishing a Cryo Electron Microscopy Facility in conjunction with the Crick Institute, and securing an unprecedented two Dementia Research Institute Centres of Excellence for the Department of Brain Sciences. I started my career at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). I have a degree in Psychology from Newcastle, and a Masters in International Relations from Durham.
