I am a molecular microbiologist with over 17 years of experience in medical research, specializing in the genomic epidemiology of bacterial pathogens. My research uses advanced genomic techniques to examine the transmission dynamics and origins of invasive bacterial diseases in neonates. By integrating molecular microbiology, genomics, and epidemiology, I work to identify bacterial transmission pathways, characterize antimicrobial resistance patterns, and assess the impact of vaccines and antimicrobial interventions, ultimately informing public health strategies and vaccine policies.

Research
My research is focused on understanding the transmission dynamics and potential sources of invasive bacterial diseases, particularly in neonates, using advanced genomic techniques. By integrating molecular microbiology, genomics, and epidemiology, my work aims to provide insights that can inform public health interventions and vaccine strategies.
