I have a bachelor's degree from Wolaita Soddo University in Environmental Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health from Addis Ababa University in Health Management. I have worked at Menelik II Comprehensive Specialized Hospital and the City Government of Addis Ababa Health Bureau since 2010. I joined as a Lecturer of Health Service Management at the University of Gondar, Department of Health Service Management and Health Economics, in 2015, undertaking teaching in Health Economics, Health Service Management and supervising students in conducting research on health system strengthening, health policy, healthcare human resource management, and healthcare financing. I also joined Bahir Dar University's Department of Health System Management and Health Economics in 2016 and worked on research and academics. My research experience is focused on the health system and policy in Ethiopia. Currently, I am attending my doctoral study (Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Population Health) at the Department of Population, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, International Center for Evidence in Disability on a research project: Access to Disability Inclusive Healthcare in the Formal Sector in Ethiopia.
