Educational/professional background
I began my MSc upon completion of my undergraduate degree: a BSc in Anthropology from the University of Durham, 2019. In my final year I conducted a secondary research project on the epidemiological transition which exposed me to the field of population health and piqued my interest in demography.
What I enjoyed most about studying at LSHTM
The lecturers at the Department of Epidemiology & Population Health are greatly inspiring personalities. They seemed to enjoy teaching very much and their dedication in the classroom created a very productive atmosphere. Likewise, it was an exceptional privilege to study with and learn from so many highly motivated peers from all over the world. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and learning from the unique experiences that we brought with us.
Since graduating I have been...
I currently work for the Office for National Statistics as a Methodologist in the Demographic Methods, Census and Population Statistics hub. My long-term goals include being able to address community health problems influenced by population level dynamics.
