Educational/ Professional Background

I graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) with a BSc in Public Health with a minor in Psychology in 2017. I then worked as a research assistant in a Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK, for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC). Here, I conducted research about disaster risk management and environmental health.

What I enjoyed most about studying at LSHTM

LSHTM is a hub, bringing together many brilliant people with extensive public health knowledge and field experience from all around the world. I am happy to be part of this global community and I gained a lot of insights from talking with my classmates. Because of the design of the Health, Policy, Planning & Financing programme, I also had opportunities to study at LSE and learnt to view different health topics from social science and economic perspectives. The programme definitely broadened my horizons and enriched my understanding of health policy.

Since graduating I have been...

I entered medical school at the University of Hong Kong after graduation. Other than studying, I engage in big-data research regarding cardiovascular diseases in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care. I also serve as a volunteer in a clinic to provide medical support for the homeless. I wish to combine my medical knowledge and public health experience to reduce health inequalities and improve healthcare access in my future career.
