MSc EpidemiologyContact Nileesa Gautam
My ‘adventure’ in Epidemiology started when I took my first Epi course at my undergraduate institution, University of New Hampshire. Shortly after graduating with my bachelor’s in biomedical sciences, I began working at the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Now I am a fulltime MSc student and a part time consultant at the Aetion Evidence Platform®
Research interests or career goals
I am primarily interested in Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology and using Real World Evidence to answer everyday health questions.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
LSHTM has an excellent global reputation in public health sciences that is unmatched by any institution. I saw the true power of the research conducted by LSHTM at various conferences in the US. I choose the MSc Epidemiology programme because of its hands-on learning approach and huge focus on group work.
