I hold an undergraduate MBBS degree and an MSc in Health Policy and Management. I worked in various clinical roles in state hospitals in Pakistan before embarking on my Public Health career.
Research interests or career goals
My research interests are maternal and child health, use of evidence to improve health and gender-based violence. My thesis focuses on interventions to prevent violence against women and girls in Pakistan. After completing my DrPH, I want to continue learning and developing my knowledge to prevent violence and its harmful impact on women, girls and children's health.
