I have a BSc in Microbiology and over 8 years working experience in the Clinical and Pathology laboratories of the CBCHS.
Research interests or career goals
I am very passionate about addressing the social determinants that affect the emotional, physical and mental wellbeing of rural women and children. I have a vision of going into research to inform policies that will improve on the wellbeing of women and girls. I aspire to be a consultant in the area of sexual and reproductive health. I also hope to be a national and international advocate for rural women empowerment and raise women’s voices against GBV.
Why I chose LSHTM/my course
I chose LSHTM because of its vision to improve health worldwide. I admire the diversity and inclusiveness in LSHTM and want to be trained by a world-leading university that is committed to empowering the next generation of health innovators and leaders.
